Our mission is to help Polish citizens living in the UK feel safe on British roads. In order to achieve this goal we engage in activities in different fields.We are always ready to get involved when our fellow countrymen need assistance in the UK in relation to automotive issues, e.g. if Polish people have problems with the authorities, the police, current procedures, or when they need to obtain appropriate qualifications, etc. At present, we are taking effort to educate the UK police, which apprehend learner drivers supervised by persons with a Polish driving licence. We make the issue public as some of the police are challenging the UK regulations in this respect. We have prepared a PDF file - a statement by the DVLA and the police, clarifying the issue.
We also initiate changes in various procedures, e.g. examination procedure. It was in response to our requests that DSA (Driving Standard Agency) took action aiming at improving the quality standards of interpretation services offered during theory tests.Our advice concerning automotive issues is frequently published by the Polish community media - the internet portals, radio stations and the press.
